Beauchamps High School – Excellent Results Again

As Executive Headteacher at Beauchamps High School, I am thrilled to celebrate another year of fantastic results, ‘the atmosphere this morning was a palpable blend of nervous anticipation, quiet reflection and underlying excitement. It’s always a pleasure to be part of the students’ final success after all their hard work and efforts’. Staff gathered with the students sharing the loud cheers, tears of joy and to support those navigating alternative routes. Reflecting on the morning, Head of School Miss Matthews shared, ‘we wish all of our students the very best in their next steps, whether that’s heading to university, starting an apprenticeship or beginning their career. We are so excited to see all that you accomplish.’ Top performers include: THOMAS H – A*, A, A, B  LAURENCE S – A*, A, A, B MATTHEW W – A*, A, A, B DAVID J – A*, A, B, C RUBY T – A*, A*, B MICHAEL-ANNE W – A, A, B AMELIA S – A, A, B FREDDY O – A, A, B ANAYA H – A*, B, B There were some amazing results achieved which ensured many of our students could move onto their first choice of university. A few of these are: Luca Y who is off to Southampton to study Economics, Amy B (pictured below) is off to study Psychology at the University of Greenwich, Ruby T is heading to the University of Sussex to continue her studies in English, Kokeoka E is going to Queen Mary to study International Relations and Politics, Tyler F has a place at RADA for Technical Theatre and Stage Management and Connie-Mae G is off to the University of Exeter to study Biochemistry with the opportunity to study abroad! Many of our students will also be taking steps towards some interesting and exciting careers, some of which include: Max M (pictured below) who is off to Skyborne Airline Academy in Bournemouth hoping to pursue his passion for travel, Fletcher W (pictured below) will be taking an apprenticeship at Balthazar – a French restaurant in Covent Garden, he is excited to take his culinary skills to the next level, Owen M (pictured below) will be joining the RAF as a pilot, the end goal being to fly the A400 Atlas or C17 Globemaster and Jessica H is off on a an apprenticeship as an Associate Project Manager for Spacecraft. We wish all of our students the best of luck as they embark on the next stage of their lives. A huge thank you to the staff for their efforts and inspiration and to the parents/carers for their continued support.

Presley B joined Beauchamps High School in Year 7 has been a proud advocate for our SEND department ever since. The last 7 years have been a ‘rollercoaster journey’. Presley has overcome huge obstacles and is now off to the University Campus of Esports in Stratford to complete a Games Development Course. His end goal is to make games for a company – so watch this space. 

‘I was so nervous in Year 7, I blinked and it was Y11 and I thought it was all over, I didn’t know what I was doing or where to go. I was so pleased Beauchamps offered me a place and now I have my whole life ahead of me!’ 

Laurence S & Thomas H 

These boys have been friends since Y7, first meeting at Lego Club all those years ago. Both boys are off to the University of Birmingham to study Computer Science together. 

The boys love their sport – Thomas is hoping to pursue his passion for karate while Laurence wants to continue to develop his athletic career and build on his current title of East of England Champion for 1500m. Good luck boys!
